Which AMD CPU Should I Choose for My Gaming PC: 7600X3D, 7800X3D, or 9800X3D?

Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building a mid-level gaming PC and I'm trying to decide between the 7600X3D, 7800X3D, and 9800X3D processors. I've heard mixed reviews about the 7600X3D being a six-core compared to the eight-core 7800X3D. Currently, I plan to pair my build with a Sapphire 9070 XT GPU. I'm also considering future-proofing my setup with the 9800X3D when I can get my hands on AMD's new high-end graphics card. Any thoughts or suggestions from those who have experience with these CPUs?

I've been using a 7800X3D with a 4080 GPU and I’m finding it to be more GPU limited than CPU limited in most games. If you're after a smooth 1440p or 4K experience, you might be fine with a 7800X3D or even a 7600X3D depending on your typical settings.

I snagged the 7600X3D for $141 at MicroCenter, which was a steal! Honestly, for the price, it's really close in performance to the 7800X3D and significantly cheaper than the 9800X3D. Just keep in mind it runs cooler and draws less power, making it efficient too.
