I'm choosing between the Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX and the ASUS TUF Gaming B650-E WiFi for a new build with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. PCIe 5.0 isn't important to me because it doesn't offer much practical benefit for gaming right now. My main concern is VRM quality and power delivery. Since the 7800X3D is fairly power-efficient, would the differences between these boards matter in real-world use? Would you choose one of these, or is there a better motherboard available for around 600 PLN, or roughly $150?

The Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX is also a perfectly reasonable choice. Its power delivery is sufficient for the 7800X3D, and Gigabyte’s warranty service may be a deciding advantage depending on your local retailer and support experience. I wouldn’t pay a large premium just for a stronger VRM on this CPU.
You could also look at the MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi if it fits your budget. It has proven to be a reliable pairing with the 7800X3D, but there’s no urgent need to upgrade beyond the two boards you listed if their features suit your build.
For a stock 7800X3D, VRM performance probably shouldn’t be a deciding factor. The chip uses relatively little power, and practically any decent AM5 motherboard can run it safely, even under heavy loads. Both of these boards should be more than capable. Between the two, I’d lean toward the ASUS TUF Gaming B650-E WiFi if the prices and features are similar.
The 7800X3D draws around 120 watts even in demanding synthetic workloads, so you don’t need an especially powerful VRM setup unless you plan to experiment with unusual power limits or CPU tuning. Pick based on BIOS features, rear I/O, M.2 slots, networking, audio, and warranty support instead. Either board should handle the processor without trouble.
