I'm trying to decide whether to go with the Ryzen 7600X or the 7700 for my gaming setup. I'm planning to pair it with a 9060 XT 16GB graphics card and I'll be playing Battlefield 6 at 1440p with everything on ultra/high settings on a 180Hz monitor. It's strictly for BF6, so I want to make sure I'm choosing the best option for that game.

Honestly, at 1440p, even something like a Ryzen 5 5600 can perform similarly to the 9800X3D in BF6. So, if budget's a concern, you might want to go for the cheapest option unless you're diving into really CPU-heavy games.
BF6 is definitely CPU-intensive. You'll need something beefier to ensure you don't hit those low frames, especially in intense moments!
The 7600X will work fine, no doubt about that! It handles the game well and gives solid performance overall.
I'd recommend the 7700 over the 7600X for Battlefield 6. This game can really push your CPU, especially in modes like Breakthrough and Conquest where the demands can get pretty intense.

But doesn't that overlook things like 1% lows? How do they compare in terms of consistent performance?
