Which CPU Should I Choose for My New PC Build: R6 7600X or 9600X?

I'm building my very first desktop PC mainly for gaming at 1080p. I came across both the R6 7600X and the 9600X on a local marketplace, and they're both listed at the same price. Which one would be the better choice if I'm pairing it with a 5060 Ti 8GB?

If both CPUs are the same price, I'd go for the 9600X. It's a newer model and generally offers better performance. Just keep in mind you might need to update your motherboard's BIOS to fully support it, especially if you're on an older board.

Definitely the 9600X! It's just a bit faster and will also run cooler than the 7600X. For the same price, you can't really go wrong with the better performing chip.
