Which Credit Card Processors Are Good for High-Risk Merchants?

I've been researching merchant services and noticed that high-risk industries are often treated very differently by credit card service providers. Many won't work with them at all, or charge ridiculous fees. I'm hoping to find out from anyone with experience: which credit card processors or service providers really understand high-risk merchants? I want to avoid wasting time with reps who don't know what they're talking about.
