I'm trying to decide between two options for DDR5 RAM: a 64GB kit running at 6000MHz or a 48GB kit at 8000MHz. I could use some advice on which one would be the better choice for my system. Thanks in advance!

If you're using an AMD setup, the 6000MHz CL30 option is a solid choice. If it's an ultra performance build with a newer CPU, then you might want to consider the 8000MHz option.

It really depends on what CPU you have. What model are you looking to pair it with?

I'd recommend going with the 64GB at 6000MHz, especially if you really need that much RAM. It's going to be better for multitasking and heavy applications. Most users find that 32GB is more than enough, but if your workload demands more, then 64GB is the way to go!

Totally, but speed isn't everything, especially if you're running heavy tasks that require more memory.

Can I ask why you think 64GB is better? Seems like 8000MHz would be faster.
