I'm still gaming on my PS5, but I'm having trouble getting the controller to work properly when I try to use it on my PC. I'm looking for recommendations on a good controller to use. I'm not concerned about extra features like back paddles or anything like that. Honestly, I've been struggling for months trying to get into using keyboard and mouse, and I really just want something comfortable to use for gaming.

The Steam Controller 2 might be the best option in the future, but it's not out yet. In the meantime, I bought an Xbox controller and a USB receiver, and it connects effortlessly with a simple button press.

I’ve tried a few different controllers and here's my ranking by feel:

1. Flydigi Vader 4 Pro - the most expensive but feels fantastic with precise sticks.
2. Xbox Series X controller - overall nice feel, although the dpad can be a bit clicky.
3. 8BitDo Ultimate 2C - decent but a bit awkward if you have bigger hands, plus it's the cheapest option.

I’m currently using the Xbox Series X remotes, and they’ve been working great for me on PC.

I recommend checking out the 8BitDo Ultimate 2. It's pretty versatile and has solid performance for the price.

If you want something budget-friendly, the Gamesir Cyclone 2 is a solid option. It’s great for the price!
