I'm trying to decide between two gaming PCs. Option one has an Intel i5 12400 processor and an Nvidia 3070 graphics card, while option two features a Ryzen 7 5700x with a 3060 Ti. The first option comes with a better case, a lower price, and a stronger GPU, but the second one includes liquid cooling and a more powerful CPU. Both setups have 1TB storage and 32GB of RAM. I'm looking for some guidance on which one would be the better choice. Any advice?

I'd recommend option one as well. I have a similar setup and it’s been great for gaming. These GPUs aren't strong enough to cause any CPU bottleneck, so don't worry too much about that.
What are the prices like for both options? I'm thinking the 3070 setup would be the winner, but the pricing could definitely sway my decision.
The i5 12400 and Ryzen 7 5700x are pretty similar for gaming performance. I'd lean towards option one with the 12400 unless you really need the extra cores of the 5700x for something else, like multitasking or streaming. Liquid cooling is nice but usually not necessary for those CPUs, and you could always add one later if you feel the need for better cooling. Just my two cents!
Ok thanks!

The 3070 rig is priced at $765, while the 3060 Ti option is $785.
