I'm considering an upgrade to my GPU and need some advice. My current setup includes an i7 12700 and 48GB of DDR4 RAM, and I'm using an ultrawide 1080p monitor (2560x1080). I'm aiming for stable 60 FPS on modern games like Cyberpunk and Crimson Desert while prioritizing quality settings. I've narrowed my choices to the 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM and the 9070 XT with 16GB for just $140 more.
I want to know if the 5060 Ti is enough for my needs over the next 2-3 years or if the 9070 XT is worth the extra cash, especially considering the lack of Nvidia technology in the AMD option. Is DLSS significant enough to sway my decision towards the 5060 Ti?

I think the 5060 Ti will be good enough for 1080p gaming. If you want to stay with Nvidia and can stretch your budget a bit, consider the 5070. Just keep in mind that your setup should handle most games at 1080p without a hitch.
The 9070 XT holds its own against the 5070 Ti, so I'd definitely go with that option. Even the non-XT version beats the 5070 in performance. DLSS has some advantages, but the raw power difference is too large for it to really bridge the gap. If your budget allows for it, the 9070 XT is the way to go.
