I'm trying to decide between the RTX 2060 and the RX 6600 XT for 1080P gaming. I mainly play MMOs like WoW, ESO, New World, and some ARPGs like Diablo 4. I don't really care about DLSS since not many of my games support it. I've seen a lot of folks in the Diablo 4 subreddit recommending the 2060, but I want to get a broader opinion since I play a variety of games.

Go for the 6600 XT! It's faster, especially for rasterization, and it's pretty much the same price as the 2060. Plus, it has 8GB of VRAM which is more aligned with current gaming standards. If you're not relying on DLSS, it's a no-brainer.

Honestly, the RX 6600 XT outperforms the 2060 in most scenarios. It’s a bit stronger and comes with 2GB more VRAM, which can make a difference in performance during gameplay. If you’re focused on 1080P gaming, you’ll likely enjoy the 6600 XT more.

While the 6600 XT has some advantages, remember that the RTX 2060, especially the SUPER variant with 8GB, offers excellent performance too. DLSS can significantly enhance your experience in supported games; just be aware that there’s a growing library of titles that do support it. Overall, the 6600 XT is about 25% faster than the standard 2060, but it varies based on the game.

Exactly! And with more games adopting it, the 2060 might be a better long-term investment if you plan to play newer titles.

Thanks for the insights! I didn't realize DLSS made such a difference.
