Which GPU Should I Choose for My 7600x3d Build: 7900XT or RTX 5070?

I'm treating myself to a graphics card upgrade after a year with my GTX 1060! I bought the 7600x3d micro center bundle last Christmas and finally have the chance to upgrade. I'm eyeing the 7900XT and the RTX 5070, both priced around $500. I'm leaning towards the 7900XT because it has significantly more VRAM, and I'm hoping this upgrade lasts a long time. However, I'm aware that the RTX 5070 has better AI capabilities, especially for ray tracing, which might be valuable. Currently, I play on a 1080p monitor but plan to upgrade to 1440p soon. Any advice? Happy New Year everyone!

I'd definitely recommend considering the 9070 or 9070 XT. They outshine the 7900XT in many ways. The RTX 5070 can be good too, but keep it under $500. If it goes above that, I'd suggest the 9070 instead for better performance.

Thanks for the tip! The 9070s are just a tad over my budget by about $100. What makes it your top choice over the others?
