Which GPU Should I Choose for My Build?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and I'm stuck between a few options. I have a Ryzen 5 5700X paired with an MSI B550 Pro DH WiFi motherboard and 32GB of RAM. I originally built my system last summer with an RTX 4060 Ti (8GB), but I found a deal on an MSI RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X Slim for 37k and also the MSI 5070 Vanguard SoC for 45k. Benchmarks show the 4070 Ti sometimes performs better in games, but I'm not sure which one to go for. Right now, I'm gaming at 1080p, but I plan to move to 1440p once I have a new GPU secured.

The 5070 is indeed the stronger choice, but if you can find an RX 9070 around the same price, it might offer better performance and has more VRAM.

I appreciate the suggestion! I'm pretty biased towards NVIDIA because of my previous experiences with AMD GPUs. Plus, I really value features like DLSS, which has improved a lot with the latest updates.

In this case, the MSI 5070 Vanguard is the better option, though it's only a slight advantage over the others.

Thanks for that! I forgot to mention the 4070 Ti is used while the Vanguard is brand new.

The 5070 will likely serve you better in the long run since it's newer and should have superior upscaling capabilities. Consider selling your old card to help fund the upgrade!
