Which GPU should I choose for my upgrade: Used 3080 Ti, New 5060 Ti, or New 5070?

I'm looking to upgrade my GTX 1060 3GB and I've got a few options on the table. I'm based in Argentina, and I need to consider the availability and prices here. The used 3080 Ti is priced between $330-$400, whereas a new 5060 Ti would cost around $550 after shipping and taxes. I might also have a cousin bringing a new GPU when he visits, but that's not guaranteed.

I primarily game at 1080p, and with my upcoming upgrade to an i5 14600KF, I want to make the right choice for my setup. The games I'm interested in include Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Arc Raiders, The Last of Us 1 & 2, and STALKER 2. If I could secure the 5060 Ti for about $430-$450, would that be a smarter move considering its warranty and newer features, or should I invest in the $540 5070, which has less performance than the 3080 Ti?

I'd steer clear of used GPUs if I were you. They don't come with any warranty and usually have older technology that's less efficient. If you're choosing between the 5060 Ti and the 5070, the 5070 is definitely the better option overall. Even though the price difference is $100, the extra performance and VRAM will benefit you at 1080p. It's worth paying a bit more for a newer card!

I agree with you, but would it be worth it to pay $220 more for a 5070 over a used 3080 Ti?
