Which GPU Should I Choose: GTX 1080 Ti or RX 6600?

I'm looking to buy a PC primarily for gaming, editing, modeling, and game development, and I'm stuck between the GTX 1080 Ti and the RX 6600. They are both priced the same in my area, and benchmark comparisons show similar performance. I'd appreciate your thoughts on which one to choose!

Honestly, I think both cards are pretty outdated now. If you’re planning to game into the future, maybe look at saving a bit more for a newer card like the RTX 4070 instead. The performance for the price would be much better.

Definitely the RX 6600. It's capable of ray tracing, which is becoming more important in new games like Indiana Jones.

I'd go with the RX 6600 since it still gets driver support, while NVIDIA has stopped updating drivers for the 1080 Ti. Plus, if you're considering options, the RTX 2070 Super or 2080 could be good second-hand choices.
