I'm trying to decide between the RTX 5060 and the RTX 3070 for my gaming setup. Given their specs, performance, and current market prices, which one do you think is the better option these days?

The RTX 5060 provides improvements in machine learning and ray tracing performance, even though the raster performance is pretty similar to the 3070. I'd recommend opting for the newer card if everything else is equal!
Currently, used 3070s are priced between $200 and $250, while the 5060 is around $330 to $370. There's also the option of the 5060 Ti with 16GB, which is about $50-60 more and could be a solid upgrade. It really depends on your budget and what you plan to play. I had a 3070 but upgraded to a 5070 Ti because it was starting to lag in newer games at higher resolutions.
There’s a slight difference in price between the two. If your budget allows it, I’d go for the 5060. It's newer, more efficient, and supports the latest features, while also keeping cooler and consuming less power.
The RTX 5060 might be a better deal since they both have the same VRAM, but the 5060 is more up-to-date and has a lower MSRP. It’s worth considering if you're looking for value!

Just to note, the cheapest 5060 now is about $300, and the 5060 Ti 16GB is around $520 right now according to some sites. So, consider your options!
