I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from an RTX 3050 paired with an i5 13400f. I'm considering selling my current GPU and want to buy either a used RX6800XT or RX7700XT. I've got a 650W PSU, so I'm curious which option would be best for my setup. Thanks for your advice!

Definitely go for the RX6800XT! It's a significant upgrade and offers more raw power and VRAM compared to the RX7700XT. Perfect for your gaming needs. Just make sure your PSU is from a reliable brand!
Just get the RX6800XT! It's commonly available for around 250-300, and for that price, it's hard to beat the performance you’ll get for standard gaming.
What resolution do you usually play at? That could impact your decision as well!
If you’re focused on ray tracing, the RX7700XT has the edge there, but it’s really not much of a leap from the 6800XT for regular gaming. Plus, FSR4 isn't fully integrated yet for the 7000 series, which limits its potential.
While both cards are solid choices, I'd recommend considering the RX9060XT 16GB if you can find it. It outperforms the RX7700XT and comes packed with modern features. It's great for ray tracing and will likely be supported longer by AMD. However, if you're set on either of the two, the 6800XT is still the way to go!
I would personally stick with the 6800XT as well; it's been a fantastic GPU for me. Just keep in mind that FSR4 really improves performance, especially if you're looking to upscale!

The 9060XT is hard to find in the used market around here, and it's a bit pricey. The other options, though, are more affordable and come with warranties.
