Which GPU should I upgrade to from my 4060 Ti for better gaming performance?

I'm looking to upgrade my current GPU, the 4060 Ti with 8GB VRAM, because I'm finding it lacking in performance for newer games like Death Stranding 2. My system is pretty decent with a Ryzen 7 5700x3d and 32GB DDR4 RAM, but I feel bottlenecked by the GPU. What would be some good options for an upgrade that are worth their price?

If you're moving up from a 4060 Ti, the RTX 5070 and RX 9070 are solid steps up. Just remember, once you go beyond these, prices can rise quickly!

Is the 5070 Ti worth it or should I stick with the regular 5070?

The RX 9070 XT is likely your best bet; it’s cheaper than the RTX 5070 Ti yet performs similarly in most games. If you're looking for a noticeable upgrade from your 4060 Ti, the 9070 XT will definitely deliver!

The best GPUs at reasonable prices right now include:
- $300-$350: RTX 3080 10GB
- $400-$550: RTX 4070 options
- $600: ASRock Challengers or RX 9070 are great options.
- For around $720, the PowerColor 9070 XT is a solid buy, especially compared to the 4080 at higher prices.

Consider the RX 9070 or 9070 XT for your upgrade. Right now, NVIDIA cards are quite overpriced compared to AMD options. Both the 9070 and 9070 XT offer great performance for their price points, especially if you're coming from a 4060 Ti.

Is there much difference between the 9070 and the 9070 XT?

The 9070 XT generally has better performance, especially in demanding games.
