I found a 6800 XT for $379 and after checking some benchmarks, it seems to outperform the 9060 XT. I'm considering my options, especially since the 9070 and 5070 are priced around $550. What do you think about the performance differences between the 6800 XT and the 9060 XT, specifically regarding ray tracing and overall value?

I’ve had the 6800 XT and it’s been solid for me. While it’s true that the 9060 might get game drivers faster, I’m not sure if those updates will ever close the gap in performance with the 6800.
The 9060 XT is definitely a better choice with FSR4 and better future-proofing. But remember, if you play older titles, the 6800 might do better in those cases, like GTA V. Just think about what games you play!
Right! Also, what resolution do you play at? At 1080p, FSR4 might not even matter much.
If ray tracing is part of your gaming plans, definitely opt for the 9060 XT. But if you want sheer performance without FSR4, the 6800 XT is still a strong pick. It really comes down to your gaming preferences
I’d go with the 9060 XT. The 6800 XT might be slightly more powerful in raster performance, like 10-15% better, but the 9060 XT totally crushes it when it comes to ray tracing. Plus, it supports FSR 4, which the 6800 XT lacks.
Yeah, if ray tracing is important to you, the 9060 XT really shines there!

That's a good point! I’m curious if those driver updates would make a big difference.
