Which Graphics Card Should I Choose: RX 6750 XT or RTX 5060 Ti 8GB?

I'm putting together my first decent gaming PC after eight years with a low-end setup and I'm looking for some advice. I want this new rig to hold up for 3 to 4 years without any major issues. My planned specs include a Xeon 2680 v4 CPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a good power supply, and a 1440p 144Hz monitor. I mainly play modern AAA games like Cyberpunk, RDR2, and others, plus some light competitive games like Valorant and CS2. I have the chance to get an RX 6750 XT for R$1800, but the RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB is also an option, though I'm worried 8GB might not be enough for 1440p gaming. The 16GB version of the RTX 5060 Ti is out of my budget by about R$1000. Which card do you think is better for my situation?

I think it's worth considering saving a bit more for an RTX 4070. Prices have dropped significantly, and it offers much better performance. Just a thought since I'm using one and it's been a game changer for me!

I’ll definitely keep that in mind, thanks!

Honestly, with that Xeon CPU, you’re not going to be fully utilizing either of these GPUs due to some limitations in single-threaded performance. If budget is tight, I'd just go for the cheaper option between the two.

Totally agree! That CPU is kind of a bottleneck, so saving money now and upgrading later makes sense.

The RX 6750 XT should handle 1440p well enough, even if the RTX 5060 Ti is faster in some cases. Just keep in mind that if you go for the Ti, you might need to lower texture settings due to the 8GB limit. I'm leaning towards the RX 6750 XT myself, it seems like a solid choice.

That's helpful! I'm just worried about future-proofing, but I might go with the RX6750XT after all.
