Which Graphics Card Should I Get for My Gaming Setup?

I'm looking to upgrade my gaming rig before prices start rising, and I want to stick with my AM4 platform on an MSI B450 Tomahawk motherboard. Currently, I'm considering upgrading my CPU from a Ryzen 2600X to a 5700X. The tricky part is choosing the right GPU. I'm using a 650W power supply and currently have a 1070 Ti. I was planning to buy a 5070, which costs around 700-800โ‚ฌ (650โ‚ฌ for smaller form factor versions). However, I wonder if I can achieve similar performance for the next 5-6 years with the 5070 Ti at about 1000โ‚ฌ, which might require a new power supply. I don't usually play AAA games, but I game at 2K resolution. Is the 5070 Ti worth the investment?

Yeah, keep in mind that if youโ€™re looking at the 5070 or above, you'll likely need at least a 750W PSU. Your current 650W might not cut it, especially if you want stable performance.

The price for a 5070 Ti seems steep. If you're seeing a 9070 XT for around 750โ‚ฌ, that might be a much better deal and offer similar or even better performance. Itโ€™s always worth comparing options before deciding!

TechieTornado92: Thanks for the tip! Iโ€™ll check local prices for the 9070 XT.

I recently picked up a B580 with 12GB of VRAM for 270โ‚ฌ. If you're focused on value, don't overlook mid-range options that might give you great performance without breaking the bank!
