I'm finishing a build with a Vetroo V360 liquid CPU cooler and an MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI motherboard. The cooler is installed, but I'm stuck on the pump wiring. The pump cable appears to be a four-position connector with one position missing, and I'm not sure whether I need a mounting adapter or a specific cable adapter to connect it safely. What should it plug into on the motherboard?

If the cooler was purchased new, the AM5 mounting hardware should be included in the box, so you probably don’t need to buy a separate bracket. For the wiring, the pump connector should go to the motherboard’s AIO_PUMP or PUMP_FAN header. A connector with one position missing can be normal—it may simply be a 3-pin pump plug housed in a 4-position connector, or a keyed connector. Line it up with the header’s plastic guide and don’t force it. The radiator fans should generally connect to CPU_FAN or the included fan hub, depending on the cooler’s instructions.
That makes more sense. I was asking about the wiring rather than the mounting bracket. I’ll check the connector key and the AIO_PUMP header instead of trying to buy an adapter.
