Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, currently running a 7800X3D alongside a 5090. The issue is that I have a bunch of USB devices connected (seven, to be exact), two M.2 SSDs, and I'm even thinking of adding a third. I also use three monitors and often have a browser and other applications open while gaming. As a result, I'm facing some micro stutters. I game at 4K with my FPS capped at 80, so I need stable performance, especially in the 1% lows. Should I go for the Core i9-12850K or just bite the bullet and get the i9-14900KS? I'm a bit hesitant about AMD since I've seen reports of failures recently.

Honestly, I don't think you need to upgrade at all. The 7800X3D is still a strong CPU. If anything, you might want to sell it and get a 9950X3D, which offers great performance and handles multitasking really well.
