Hey everyone! I'm about to make a decision on my next build and could use some advice. I'm considering either a B650 with 16GB of single-channel RAM (CL30) or an A620 with 32GB of dual-channel RAM, paired with a Ryzen 7600. I'm also shifting from an Intel 10400F processor, so I'm curious if the performance improvement will be noticeable. For context, my GPU is an RTX 3060 Ti and I mostly play games at 1080p and 1440p resolutions. What do you think?

I wouldn't recommend going with the A620. It has some limitations that could hold you back in terms of performance. If you can, it's better to save up a little more and look for alternatives that offer better VRM and overall features.
Honestly, if you're not set on those two options, you might want to consider the 9600 build. It could give you a good balance of performance without breaking the bank.
From what I’ve seen, all three builds you're considering cost pretty much the same in total. If it were me, I'd stick to the B650 since it generally offers better performance with single-channel RAM versus the A620's dual-channel, especially if you're gaming at those resolutions.
That makes sense! I appreciate the insight on the builds being around the same price.

But what's wrong with the A620 specifically? I’ve heard the VRM isn't great and there's no PBO, but is there more?
