Which Linux Distribution Should I Choose as a Beginner?

I'm looking to switch to Linux but I'm feeling overwhelmed with all the options out there. I want something that will be comfortable for a newcomer like me. Can anyone suggest which Linux distribution would be a good fit?

If you want something that feels similar to Windows 7 or 10, I'd recommend trying Linux Mint with the Cinnamon desktop. It's user-friendly and worked really well for me after testing a bunch of other distros.

I'd suggest Kubuntu. It's based on Ubuntu, which is stable and well-supported. The KDE desktop environment is quite user-friendly and lets you customize a lot of things once you get comfortable.
