Which Motherboard Should I Choose for My New Build: GIGABYTE X870E AORUS MASTER or ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO?

Hey everyone,

I'm in the process of building a new PC featuring a 9800X3D CPU, 4 M.2 NVME PCIe SSDs (Gen 4), and an RTX 5080 GPU. My main concern right now is picking the right motherboard. Out of these two options, which one would you recommend and why? Are there any reasons I should steer clear of either?

Thanks in advance!

If you're asking about it, you might not actually need the X870E. A good B850 motherboard would give you the same performance and save you some cash. But hey, if you want to splurge, that's your call!

Have you considered why you picked the X870E in the first place? Honestly, a solid B850 motherboard like the MSI Tomahawk would be perfectly fine for your 9800X3D and 5080 setup. No need to overspend here!

Totally agree! Even a B650 might do the trick depending on your needs.
