Which NVIDIA or AMD GPU Offers Performance Similar to the PS5 Slim?

The closest overall comparison is probably an RX 6700-class card. The PS5 uses a customized AMD GPU with 16GB of shared memory, so it doesn’t match a desktop card perfectly, but an RX 6700 or something around the RTX 2070, RTX 3060 12GB, RTX 4060, or RTX 5050 should give a reasonable performance comparison.

From a hardware-spec perspective, the PS5 GPU is often described as being similar to a cut-down or modified RX 6700-series chip. Its higher memory capacity and console-specific design make direct comparisons difficult, though. A desktop RX 6600 may look similar in raw compute in some comparisons, while an RX 6700 is generally a closer real-world estimate.

Keep in mind that equivalent specifications don’t always mean equivalent gaming performance.
