Which Programming Language Should I Start With: Python or C++?

I'm new to coding and my college classes will start in July. I've heard mixed opinions on what language to begin with. Some people suggest starting with C++ as it will make it easier to learn other languages like C and Python later on. However, others warn that C++ might be too difficult for a complete beginner. Can anyone provide some guidance on which programming language would be better for someone like me?

If you're just starting out and unsure about sticking with programming, I'd recommend Python first. It's much easier for beginners and can help you build confidence. But if you're planning to take a serious programming course, starting with C++ could be beneficial since it creates a strong foundation for understanding more complex concepts in languages like Java or C#.
