Which PSU Should I Choose for My Upgrade?

I'm looking to upgrade my power supply unit (PSU) and I'm considering a few options: the MSI MAG A850GL, Corsair CX, and Thermaltake Toughpower GT 850W. I'm new to PC building, so PSUs aren't my strong suit. I plan to upgrade my GPU from an RX 6600 soon, but for now, I want to make sure I pick the safest PSU to support my setup. I've seen a lot of positive feedback on these models, but some cautious reviews too. If anyone has recommendations outside of these three or advice on which to choose, I'd really appreciate it!

Out of the three options, I’d suggest going for the MSI MAG A850GL. It generally has the best reputation and performance among them, as long as the price difference isn’t too significant.

If it were me, I’d wait to buy the PSU until you're ready to upgrade your GPU. Unless you find a fantastic deal, there’s not much point in upgrading right now unless your current PSU is definitely at risk of failing.

Check out a PSU tier list if you want a broader view of options. It helps to see how different models rank against each other, and you can find it online.
