I have a 240Hz monitor, but when I play games in fullscreen, my FPS is capped at 120. However, there's no cap when I use windowed borderless mode. Does anyone know how I can fix this FPS cap issue?

Make sure to turn off any options like V-Sync, FreeSync, or G-Sync. They can sometimes limit your FPS unexpectedly. If youโ€™ve done that and still face issues, let me know!

FPSFanatic123: I tried turning everything off and I'm still capped at 120. What else can I check?

You should check for any monitor drivers or firmware updates on the manufacturer's site. Sometimes outdated software can cause these kinds of problems.

TechieTornado92: Thanks, I'll give that a shot!

NerdyNate45: I did the updates, but it's still capped. I figured out the issueโ€”I found out AMD capped my FPS without me realizing. It's super frustrating!
