Why Are My Games Capped at 60 FPS on a 120Hz Monitor?

I'm using a laptop with a 3050 Ti GPU and have an Acer KB272 G0 monitor that supports 120Hz. I've updated to the latest version of Windows and have noticed that my games, specifically Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege, are stuck at 60 FPS even though my monitor can handle 120Hz. I've checked every setting in each game, reviewed the control panel and Nvidia settings to make sure V-Sync is off, and even redownloaded the games. Although sometimes I see a brief spike to 120 FPS, it always drops back down to 60 after a while. This issue is really frustrating!

Hey, have you confirmed that your monitor is actually set to 120Hz? Sometimes, it can default back to 60Hz in the display settings without you realizing it. Double-check in your advanced display settings on Windows to ensure it's set correctly. That might help!

I’ve checked mine too, and as soon as I switched it back to 120Hz, everything improved. Definitely worth a look!
