Why Are My Games Running Slow on My PC?

I've noticed something strange with my PC lately. About a week or two ago, I checked to see if there was a port I could use to plug something in. After that, all my games began running really slowly and lagging. It's odd since everything else like my browsers runs perfectly fine. I've tried various fixes but nothing has worked so far. Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this issue?

First off, check that your HDMI or DisplayPort cable is connected to your graphics card instead of the motherboard. Sometimes the cable can slip out or get accidentally plugged into the wrong port, which would definitely slow down your gaming performance.

I actually had a similar problem! It could be worth checking if you've plugged your cable into all the right ports. Different ports can have different functionalities, so make sure it's definitely in the graphics card. If it feels like it's still lagging after that, maybe look into your graphics settings or drivers?

If you're still having issues after checking the cables, consider updating your graphics card drivers. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause performance issues in games even if everything else runs smoothly. It might solve your problems!
