I'm really at my wit's end here. Even though speed tests show I'm getting around 450 Mbps download and 14 Mbps upload, my internet browsers are crawling. I've already tried a bunch of things: cleared cookies and cache, run malware scans, reset my router, restarted my computer, changed the DNS and IP settings, switched between different browsers, checked my computer's memory (which is only at 40% usage), and toggled graphics acceleration on and off. The only time things seem to speed up is when I run a VPN, but I don't want to keep that on all the time. Sites like YouTube and Facebook are especially slow. I'm wired directly to the internet, so no WiFi issues here. What else can I try to get my browsing speed back up?

Have you checked if you're overloading your browser with too many extensions? Sometimes having too many can really slow things down. Just a thought! If you are using an anti-virus and an ad blocker, maybe try disabling them temporarily to see if it helps.

I only have the anti-virus and ad blocker, but I can disable them for a bit to see if that makes a difference.
