Why are RX 9060 XT GPUs priced so high lately?

I've been looking into getting an RX 9060 XT with 16GB, as I've come across a lot of folks suggesting it's a better buy than the 5060 for a similar or lower price. However, I noticed that the cheapest RX 9060 XT on Amazon.de is going for over $400, and that's just for the 8GB version. Is there anywhere I can find them priced around $300?

You're probably not going to find a deal for that. The RX 9060 XTs are super popular, and with more people wanting them, the prices have simply gone up. Just the way it is right now.

Right now, it's tough to find them at a decent price. A lot of it has to do with the market and demand, especially after certain RAM shortages drove prices up. So, don't expect to snag one for cheap anytime soon. Blame the supply issues and open market madness for this situation!

Honestly, prices for these cards have skyrocketed recently. I got a 16GB version by XFX about six weeks ago for $389, and now it's up to $449 on Amazon. It's a pain, but checking local retailers might yield better results for you.

It might just be a regional issue. Up here in Canada, the 16GB version is around $400 USD, while the 8GB version sits at about $325 USD. Both are a bit hard to find, though.

I managed to snag one from a second-hand site for €300 just a couple of days ago! But for new models, you’ll still be looking at $400 or more.
