I just checked the drivers for my 1050 Ti, and it looks like there's a new version coming out on January 27, 2026. I thought the card stopped being supported in 2025, so I'm curious—why are there still drivers being released?

I feel you, I still use a 750 Ti. It’s old but still kicking! I guess updates help keep it relevant, even just a little.
That sounds about right! I saw the same thing on NVIDIA's site, latest update is listed for January 28, 2026. It's nice they're still doing something for the older models, at least.
The new drivers you're seeing are probably just security updates, not new game-ready drivers. Companies sometimes keep issuing these updates to ensure older cards remain secure, even after official support ends.
When you say 'new,' do you mean the drivers are actually fresh? Because if it’s your first update for the card, that makes sense even if the card is a bit older.
