I'm trying to set up my Acer Chromebook and connected to my school's Wi-Fi. However, to sign into the network, I need to change the date and time, which doesn't match the current time zone. When I try to update the date and time, nothing happens—even though my mouse is working fine. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the Wi-Fi or my school specifically, but I really want to get this computer set up. Any advice would be really appreciated!

It might be that your school has set it so that you can't change the time manually. Some institutions lock these settings to avoid issues.
