I've been having trouble playing videos from my phone's gallery after I plugged it into my PC to transfer some files. Some videos play just fine, but there are a few that don't work at all. I've already tried rebooting my phone and clearing the cache where I could, and I double-checked that the file names are correct (like mp4). I'm really confused about what could be causing this issue. Any suggestions?

Have you thought about trying VLC to see if it plays the videos? It's pretty good with different formats and might handle the ones that are giving you trouble.
I actually don’t have any problems playing those same files on my PC or using the Mi Video app on my Xiaomi phone. The weird thing is, they just won’t play in the gallery app. Maybe there's a glitch in the gallery that prevents it from recognizing certain files?
