I just built a new PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite AX V2 motherboard, but I'm stuck because neither my M.2 NVMe nor my SATA SSD shows up during the Windows installation. I've updated the BIOS to the latest version and set the SATA mode to AHCI, but the drives don't appear in the installer, even though the BIOS recognizes them.
I've tried using diskpart commands, but I keep getting errors about missing drivers. I downloaded the RAID drivers from the Gigabyte website, but they haven't helped either. Sometimes only one driver option appears, and selecting it makes the disk vanish from the list. I'm really frustrated, and it feels like it shouldn't be this difficult. Any advice would be appreciated!

It sounds like you might have RAID enabled in your BIOS, which can prevent the drives from showing up during installation. Make sure you disable it and reset the settings if needed. Windows usually has the NVMe/SATA drivers built in, so that might solve your problem.

I tried resetting everything several times, including the CMOS. RAID is off, and it's set to AHCI, but the drives still don’t show up. I even booted from a live Linux USB and managed to install it on one of the disks! Both drives were visible there, but still not in Windows. I’ve tried three versions of Windows, and none of them see any drive.
