I'm staying at an Airbnb where the Wi‑Fi works perfectly on my phone, but the network doesn't appear in the available networks list on my PC at all. The computer is fairly new and has Wi‑Fi 6, and the router also appears to support Wi‑Fi 6. Is there a way to make the network show up or troubleshoot why the PC can't detect it?

Wi‑Fi 6 compatibility doesn’t necessarily rule out a band or channel issue. The router may be using a 5 GHz channel your adapter or current driver doesn’t detect, or it may be advertising only one band. Try updating or reinstalling the PC’s Wi‑Fi driver, then check whether the adapter can see other networks. If possible, ask the host to enable a 2.4 GHz network or restart the router. Also make sure Wi‑Fi is enabled in Windows and that the adapter isn’t disabled in Device Manager.
The PC is from last year and definitely has Wi‑Fi 6, and the router seems to support it too. I’ll check the driver and whether it’s only broadcasting on a band or channel the adapter isn’t picking up.
