I initially had 2x8GB RAM sticks running at 3200MHz, but after adding another 2x8GB sticks of the same type, I noticed a significant drop in speed to 2133MHz, even with XMP enabled. I tried manually setting it back to 3200MHz, but that led to crashes after a BIOS update. Now, 2133MHz is the only stable speed without causing crashes. I'm using an AMD 5600X CPU on an MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus motherboard with PNY MD16GK2D4320016XRGB RAM. Is this speed drop expected when using all four RAM slots?

Yeah, when you use all four RAM slots, it can stress your CPU's memory controller. To maintain stability, the speed may automatically drop. Make sure to use RAM in dual-channel configurations for the best performance!
Is the stress enough to cause crashes, though? I've got 4x32GB DDR4 running perfectly fine at 3200MHz in my rig.
