Hey everyone, I'm looking into some mysterious D365 app registrations that suddenly appeared for several clients. My ITSec team handed me a few tickets to investigate this since they don't seem to handle it themselves. These registrations seem to have auto-created all at once, and I'm trying to understand what might have triggered this or how I can track down the source. They all fall under the label of "D365 Sales Agent - Research (Microsoft Copilot Studio)." Any insights or theories would be appreciated!

Yeah, I noticed those app registrations too. It definitely feels like an automated rollout since they popped up all at once. I’m also struggling to find any official documentation on it.
It looks like the new Copilot Research and Analyst features are rolling out with D365 Sales Enterprise. They’ve started showing up in our tenant too. While nobody seems to be using them actively yet, they might just be auto-created as part of the rollout process.
Have you checked the publisher name on those registrations? It might provide a clue if it's Microsoft or someone else, but it looks like they behave like manually created registrations.
