Why did my Gmail sign me out on my iPhone due to suspicious activity?

I was out walking and checked my Gmail app, only to find that all my accounts except one were signed out due to suspicious activity reported from my own device. I'm feeling pretty anxious about how this could happen. I've managed to recover the accounts, but I can't sign back into Gmail even though I can access them through Chrome. It also mentions that someone might have accessed my account using a suspicious app on my device, but I'm not sure which app that could be. Is there any way to check for this? Google also warned about potential malware on my device, which is terrifying because I didn't think iPhones could get malware. What should I do?

You're definitely not alone—the same happened to me last year! I tried everything but couldn't find a permanent fix either. If you discover what works for you, please share!

It's essential to follow Google's advice and check for malware. And yes, iPhones can get malware, even if it’s less common. You can try running a trusted antivirus app from the App Store to scan your device. Just make sure to check the app's reviews before downloading it to ensure it's legitimate!

Yeah, but how do I know which specific apps might be harmful? I haven't downloaded anything new lately, and my old iPhone seems fine.
