Why do my Bluetooth earbuds desync in a specific spot of the parking lot?

I've noticed that every time I walk through a certain area in a large parking lot, my Bluetooth earbuds desync. I cross this spot several times a week at different times, and it always happens without fail, regardless of the direction I'm walking. I'm curious about what could be causing this kind of signal interference.

SoundWave43: I did think the parking lot is near a big antenna, but it only seems to affect one small area. Would that still be the cause if it's such a wide-open space?
