Why Do My Bluetooth Earbuds Work on My Laptop but Not My Phone?

I've been using my Bluetooth earbuds with my laptop without any issues, but when I connect them to my phone, they connect fine but there's no sound. They worked perfectly on my phone for about a month, and then one day they just stopped. I've tried some troubleshooting tips I found online, but nothing seems to help. Any ideas?

Just to add, since you mentioned they work on another phone, it seems like the issue might be with your original phone. Check the Bluetooth settings to see if there’s an option for audio routing or if the earbuds are specifically set for calls only.

It sounds frustrating! First off, if you have another phone available, try connecting your earbuds to it to see if they work there. Sometimes, Bluetooth audio is set only for calls, so make sure to check if your earbuds are in the right audio mode. Also, don’t forget that Bluetooth has its own volume control, so double-check that it's not turned down or muted.
