Why Do PC Builders Prefer Buying Lian Li Fans in Triple Packs?

I really want to get Lian Li fans for my build. I know they're on the pricier side, but they're still within my budget. However, I've noticed that many YouTubers who build PCs tend to buy triple packs of these fans. For instance, some setups have 8 fans but they purchase 3 triple packs, totaling 9 fans. Why don't they just buy 2 triple packs and a single fan instead? Can someone break this down for me? I'm still learning about building PCs!

You might also be able to sell the extra fan if you don't need it. It can sometimes be a good way to deal with that excess.

One reason is that it's often cheaper to get 3 fans in a pack rather than individual ones. Plus, you might end up with a spare fan that can replace one if it fails down the line.

Honestly, it’s all about the price per fan. Buying in packs usually offers a discount, so make sure you check the math on individual versus pack pricing before deciding!
