I have a user who primarily works on her desktop but sometimes connects to it via RDP from a laptop over our company Wi-Fi. Both devices are within the same domain, and she logs in as the same user on both. Since an update on the Abacus ERP application, it closes automatically when she starts the RDP connection. Interestingly, all other applications remain open during the switch, but Abacus shuts down. Conversely, it stays open when she disconnects the RDP and logs in directly on the desktop. I'm stumped and can't find anything in the application or RDP settings that might be causing this. Any ideas?

Are you sure it doesn't just minimize instead of closing? With Windows 11, there's a feature that minimizes all windows during an RDP session. Some users think the app has quit, but it might just be minimized. Check if that's the case.
Some programs, like Bloomberg, will actually shut down if they detect an RDP connection due to licensing issues. This could be what's happening with Abacus as well, but I can't say for sure.

Nope, it's really closing. I checked Task Manager, and all the Abacus processes shut down. The event viewer doesn’t show any logs about it. All the other apps just stay open.
