Why Does My Dell Inspiron Restart When I Shut It Down?

I recently replaced the battery in my Dell Inspiron 13 5370 with a third-party one, and now I'm encountering a weird problem: whenever I shut down the laptop while running on battery power, it just restarts instead of staying off. I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in, which helped for a bit, but the issue came back. It seems like there might be a glitch between the hardware and software.

Have you checked the laptop's BIOS settings? Sometimes, there’s a feature that automatically powers the laptop back on when the lid is opened, and it might get reset to default after changing the battery. Just something to consider!
