I just got an Asus ROG Strix Scar 16 laptop with an RTX 5090, and I'm facing some issues. While playing Rust and using voice chat, my game seems to lag a lot. I've tried around 20 different solutions, but nothing has worked so far. Oddly enough, a temporary fix I found is going into the Windows sound settings to change my microphone, which briefly resolves the lag until I close the settings. Has anyone experienced this or know how to solve it?

It’s strange that your game lags just from using a mic unless you’re recording or using some heavy software alongside. Is that happening for you?
