I have a laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7 2600 and a 5060 graphics card. Normally, my laptop goes into sleep mode when I close the lid, and it wakes up just fine. However, today I was working, closed the lid to step out for about 10 minutes, and when I came back, it had completely shut down. This laptop is brand new, so I'm a bit worried. Is this a serious issue? Could it be a software or hardware problem, or maybe just a bug with Windows? A technician suggested it might be a bug.

Make sure to check the power options in the Control Panel. Go to Hardware and Sound, then Power Options, and see what it says under "When I close the lid." That can help figure out the issue. Some users have reported similar problems with Lenovo laptops due to software glitches.
It could be a bug or maybe your battery was below the threshold, causing the laptop to turn off. Check the power settings to see if it's configured right.

My battery is set to conserve at 80%. Should I be worried about this?
