I'm having a weird issue where my microphone works perfectly fine on my Windows laptop, but when I try using it on other devices, it doesn't pick up any sound. I've already reinstalled the drivers on my laptop, but that hasn't helped. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any tips or ideas on how to resolve it?

That’s strange! Can you share what kind of microphone you’re using and what other devices you’ve tried it on? Also, if it’s working on Windows, there might not be a need to mess with the drivers since most other devices won’t require them.
It's a headset mic and I’ve also tried using the laptop's webcam mic, but it didn't work on my phone or other devices. The headset does work fine with my tablet, though. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers Windows installed, but I’m not sure if that's the right approach.
