Why Does My Monitor Keep Going Black?

I'm having an issue where my monitor randomly goes black and shows the message "input signal not found, check the video cable and video source." I've already tried unplugging and replugging everything, but it keeps happening. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

What type of cable are you using? Are you connected directly to the GPU or the motherboard? If you’re using any adapters like HDMI to DVI, that might be the culprit.
